About

I am a science and environmental journalist living and working on Colorado’s Front Range. I began my career in journalism as a reporter for a large Colorado newspaper. Before entering journalism I practiced law for more than a decade. My legal career included a focus on environmental and natural resources law and service as a visiting teaching and research fellow at a law school in the Pacific Northwest, clerk to a federal appeals court judge, and professional staff member of a U.S. Senate committee.
